Vintage 1980s Dave & Johnny Navy Blue & Gold Strapless Cocktail Dress W Bow and Slit. Has front embellishment detail. Size 8. Length is 47". Chest is 34", waist is 30", and hips are 38". Slit is 22". Zipper back. Lining. The hanger loops inside have been cut out, pictured. Great formal party dress.

There is black crinoline under the skirt. I have loved and collected many Gunne Sax Dresses over the years and sold many, as well. Condition - Not a pink tint or fire engine red, more like a muted cherry red - just a perfect dress probably never worn a/e/b labels stiff, body shows no signs of wear, fabric like new - no flaws.
The fabric is a mid weight woven like taffeta. It has a faint gray floral print on it that is embellished with gold paint and it gives it a very rich and interesting look. The piece is unlined and has large shoulder pads.

It has a flattering fit and flare cut, v-neckline, is belted, has pockets, and is midi in length. The acetate/rayon blend material should be dry cleaned.
