This dress was made in the first decade of the 20th century most likely around 1906-1908. It was made of black wool and accented with lace and silk. There is wear to the silk belt. It is missing a piece in the back.
CONDITION: THE BELTING ON THE REAR IS ABSENT. DATING TO THE EDWARDIAN ERA. THE BOTTOM IS FULL FOR THE PUFFY EDWARDIAN LOOK. FASHIONED OF A STRIPED WHITE COTTON WITH LACE INSERTION IN THE FRONT WITH NARROW PLEATS TOWARDS THE NECKLINE AND WIDE PLEATS TOWARDS EACH SIDE.
Up for sale. Beautiful antique Edwardian antique white petticoat. Cotton and Cluny lace. This tuck is 4" and can only be seen on the inside. This has been done by hand and the stitches can be removed and 4" could be added to the length.

A lovely antique (late 1890s or very early 1900s) cotton lace shirtwaist blouse with high collar and pearlescent buttons. Has slight pigeon breast gathering at the front. Would be a fantastic piece for study or restoration.
