1930s Silk Velvet Lace Vintage 4 Pc Dress Set Midnight Blue Jacket Belt Hat – XL

Get ready to impress! This is a 4-piece dress set from the 1930s, made of the kind of silk velvet you can get lost in. The set consists of dress, unlined jacket, matching belt, and fascinator hat. Okay, the hat is not original to the set and appears to be from the 1940s, but it completes the look. Measurements:Dress: Bust = 42"Waist = 38"Hips = 48"Sleeves = 12"Shoulders (lightly padded) = 16"Top to bottom = 45" Jacket:Bust = 40"Shoulders = 16"3/4 sleeves = 15" The luxe silk velvet and floral lace are in strong, very good condition. The jacket is unlined and has no closure in the front. The dress closes with a metal Crown zipper on the left side. The top of the dress is lined with a blue slip. The belt measures 43" x 1". The buckle has fabric wear (see photo). The fascinator hat is made of blue and black velvet, has an 8" diameter, and attaches with a stretchy head strap. The hat label reads, "From the Young Towners' Hat Shop" next to a consumers' protection label.

It's solid black, with a beautiful textured pattern (black on black), a bit like a Persian lamb coat (but this isn't fur: it's some lightweight synthetic fabric). Dress it up for evening with high heels, a fabulous wrap, and jewelry. Or dress it down with tights and flats and a sweater. It's gorgeous either way!
