Super fun dress! Please note size tag is missing. This is a wrap around style sarong. It has inside ties at the waist with velcro AND ties at the top. Laid flat pit to pit is 15in. There is no stretch to this fabric. (My mannequin is size 10 and it’s too small for the mannequin.) the total length is about 50in. Found one small spot on the front, see photo. No major concerns.
Button down back to the waist with a 6" zipper waist closure.

The black silk shell is densely embellished with intricate beadwork and sequins in jewel-tone shades of red, pink, teal, green, gold and black. Cropped bolero silhouette. The substantial beadwork gives the jacket a luxurious weight, while the silk fabric and rayon lining allow it to drape comfortably when worn.
It may have been shortened from the original maxi length. Personally I like the shorter length, it's easier to wear. Length : 42 in.

Wonderful details, such as pleating, faux pearl buttons, and a collar that can be worn tied. It's probably nylon and dates from the 1950's or possibly early 60's. This is a lovely blouse.
