This phenomenally unique 1970s disco dress is made of a predominately red knit floral with metallic thread running throughout. Colorful, psychedelic & eye-popping- it’s in good enough condition to wear for a special occasion today, or as a fantastic show piece for a theatrical or screen production. It has an elasticized waist, and a matching sash you can tie into a bow. The sleeve crease could be gently ironed or steamed out, and the sleeve cap is slightly gathered. There are deep seam allowances and lightly padded shoulders. (See pictures. ) Measurements include: Shoulder to shoulder= 15 & 1/4” Sleeve length from shoulder to hem= 24” Neck to waist front= 14-16” (Depending on whether you choose to wear it as a natural or high waist) Waist to hem front= 27” Waist (elasticized)= 24” - 28” Hem circumference= 39” Clean and ready to wear. I do not see a contents or size label. The fabric has some stretch. My guess is Polyester. I’m guessing a modern day M or L (size). But, rather than going by my guess, please see measurements above. Additional measurements: In back, collar seam to hem is 27”. Shoulder to end of sleeve is 23 1/4”. Armpit to end of sleeve is 18”. End of sleeve measures 4 1/8” from side to side. Shoulder to armpit is 8 1/4”.
