Vintage 1970s Wool Maxi Skirt Green plaid homemade never worn 38″x41″ w/4″ hem

Specifications

This is a homemade, unlined, wool “maxi” skirt from the 1970s. It is made of medium weight wool in a rusty-orange, aqua blue, white plaid on a dark/forest green background. There are no holes or snags and a zipper closure (on the side seam). This skirt (made by my mother--an excellent seamstress) has no waist snap or buttonhole and button; thus, this skirt has never been worn or dry cleaned since it was made in the mid-1970s. It has been safely stored away in a steamer trunk for more than 50 years so the colors are bright. The waist measures about 38” and the length at the side seam is 41.” There is about a 4” hem so it can be lengthened. Please see the accompanying photographs for further details.
